| Women's Health Foundation Board of Directors Kari Bo, PhD, PT Dr. Bo is the Vice President of the International Organization of Physical Therapists in Women’s Health (IOPT), and is also currently the Vice President of the Norwegian Council for Nutrition and Physical Activity. Linda Brubaker, MD, FACOG, FACS Dr. Brubaker is a Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology with a co-joint appointment in the Department of Urology. She is the Chief and Fellowship Director of the Division of Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery at Loyola University Medical Center, in Maywood, Illinois. Mary Drill Mary Drill is an American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) and an American Council on Exercise (ACE) certified personal trainer. Mary established Body Mechanics by Drill in 1988 to further her role as an educator and began offering Tools for the Trainer workshops in Chicago, Illinois. Judith Florendo Judith Florendo is a pelvic floor physical therapist in private practice in Chicago, Illinois. Additionally she is the practice chairperson for the International Organization of Physical Therapists in Women’s Health (IOPTWH). Cheryle B. Gartley Cheryle Gartley is the founder and president of The Simon Foundation for Continence, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to increasing public and professional awareness about incontinence, in Chicago Illinois. Maureen McClain George Maureen George is a senior physical therapist at Accelerated Rehabilitation in Chicago, Illinois. She is an orthopedic specialist and has a certificate in Manual Therapy and the Pilates Mat Program. Roger Goldberg, MD, MPH Dr. Goldberg is the Director of Urogynecology Research at the Evanston Continence Center of Northwestern University Medical School in Evanston, Illinois. Timothy R. Lavender Tim Lavender is a Partner with the national law firm of Kelley Drye & Warren LLP, which represents the Foundation, in Chicago, Illinois Janis M. Miller, PhD, RN.C Dr. Miller is on faculty at the University of Michigan School of Nursing and the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, at the University of Michigan School of Medicine in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Ingrid Nygaard, MD Dr. Nygaard is a Professor at the University of Iowa College of Medicine and the Director of the Department of Urogynecology and Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery in Iowa City, Iowa. Carmela Tafoya Carmela Tafoya’s runs innovative personal fitness training workshops to teach clients to be self-sufficient -- literally not to need her anymore, thereby insuring “long-term adherence” to exercise. The culmination of her experiences and her creative training led Tafoya to develop the No Excuse Workout© and The Five Step Eating Plan©. Janet E. Tomezsko, MD, FACOG Dr. Tomezsko is an Assistant Professor and the Director of Urogynecology & Female Pelvic Surgery at Northwestern University Medical School in Chicago, Illinois. Beverly Whipple, PhD, RN, FAAN Dr. Whipple is a Professor Emerita at Rutgers, The State University of NJ in Newark, New Jersey. She is a certified sex educator, certified sex counselor, certified sex researcher, and certified sexologist. Kristene E. Whitmore, MD Dr. Whitmore is the Director of the Pelvic Floor Institute in Philadelphia. She is the Director of the Urology/Gynecology Fellowship. Jean F. Wyman, PhD, RN, FAAN, FSGA Dr. Wyman is a Professor and Endowed Chair in nursing research at the University of Minnesota’s School of Nursing, as well as Professor of community health and family practice at the School of Medicine, University of Minnesota, Minneapolis. |
